Valle Catholic Boys basketball Have Eyes Set on Big Season

(Ste. Genevieve) Valle Catholic boys basketball finished last season with 18 wins. However, they came in fifth in the MAAA Conference Tournament and were bounced out of district play in the semifinals. Head coach Tyler Search is excited for this year’s team. He says they are young but ready to make a statement.

Everything starts with Carter Hoog, a senior and four year starter. Chase Fallert, who plays quarter back on the football team, adds an athletic guard on the floor. Search says the young guys have an opportunity to learn form Hoog, and he believes the team will benefit from it.

Search knows the benchmark in the area is 20 wins. While he thinks his team is capable of that this year, he says they are more focused on other goals.
