(FESTUS) In a massive road victory, the Valle Catholic Warriors managed to defeat the Jefferson Blue Jays by a final score of 20-0.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Warriors were finally able to break the tie early in the second with a short rushing touchdown.

The point after try was no good, but Valle was able to secure a 6-0 lead. Deep in their own territory late in the 2nd quarter, the Warriors executed a quick march down the field for another score.

A successful 2-point conversion put Valle Catholic on top of Jefferson 14-0 at the break. A defensive stand from both teams kept the score at 14-0 through the third. That changed however as the Warriors found the endzone yet again in the 4th quarter.

The PAT missed wide left, but a 20-0 lead with about 8 minutes left to go proved to be an insurmountable deficit for the Blue Jays who fell by that same margin. Valle Catholic head coach Judd Naeger thought this was a good step forward for his squad.
