Valle Catholic Hosts Fair Grove In Class 2 Semifinals Saturday Afternoon On J-98 The Boot

(Ste. Genevieve) The Valle Catholic Warriors (11-1) are vying for a spot in the Class Two football championship Saturday afternoon. They will host Fair Grove in the semifinals at Father John Dempsey Field in Ste. Genevieve. We’ll broadcast the game on J-98 The Boot.

Valle defeated Lift For Life 47-14 last Saturday. Coach Judd Naeger was more than pleased with his guys handled themselves on the field.

Fair Grove (12-0) won its first district title under head coach Bill Voorhis this season. It’s his 10th year leading the Eagles. He says it was a long time coming with this group of seniors.

Fair Grove defeated previously-unbeaten Father Tolton, 27-13, in the state quarters last week. Junior Kellen Lair is the player to watch. He leads the Eagles in receiving and rushing, with 2,451 total yards and 49 touchdowns on the year.
