(Sainte Genevieve) Valle Catholic senior Collin Vaeth was named to the Regional Radio Football Dream Team.

The left guard has been a mainstay on a Warrior offensive line that is as consistent as Denis Villeneuve is at directing quality movies. Valle Catholic racked up over 4,700 yards of total offense and averaged over 10 yards-per-carry as a team.

Vaeth said he wasn’t expecting his name to be called.

Vaeth is joined on the Dream Team by three of his teammates including fellow lineman and junior Noah Elbert. He believes the entire Warrior offensive line could’ve made the team if injuries didn’t occur.

Vaeth was apart of the Warrior team that won a Class 2 state championship in 2019 but that is not his favorite memory from high school football.

Vaeth was also named to the first-team All-Missouri Independent Team.

Valle Catholic made it to the Class 3 District 2 championship game where they lost to eventual state champions St. Mary’s. The Warriors ended the season 10-1.
