Valles Mines Man Seriously Injured in St. Francois County Scooter/Motorcylce Accident

(Lake Lacawanna) A man from Valles Mines was seriously injured Thursday in a two vehicle accident in St. Francois County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash took place on Rouggly Road near East Lakeview Drive near Lake Lacawanna when a Honda PCX scooter driven by 75-year-old Earl L. Dorsey of Valles Mines struck the rear of a Honda GL1800 motorcycle driven by 71-year-old Paul Wigger of Desloge.
That caused the scooter to overturn, throwing Dorsey from his scooter.
Dorsey received serious injuries and had to be flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis.
