Valley of Caledonia School to Host Veterans Day Breakfast

(Caledonia) The Valley School District in Caledonia will go all out to honor veterans on Veterans Day.

Superintendent Jason Samples says the last couple of years this event had been scaled back because of the coronavirus, but this year, the school will spend a good portion of Friday honoring local veterans.

That’s according to Superintendent Jason Samples.

Cordia-Humphrey American Legion Post 265 in Potosi and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6996 of Potosi, will also have a special event on Friday to recognize Veterans Day.

They will host a flag ceremony to honor veterans of all wars at the Washington County Courthouse Friday morning at 11.
