Viburnum Area Loves Thy Neighbor

(Viburnum) It takes a lot of donations of money to do the free work each year in the Viburnum Love Thy Neighbor program which is led by many of the area churches.

Fundraising efforts mainly take place during the cold weather months and the improvement projects on homes take place after the weather warms up.

Lance Mayfield is a member of the First Baptist Church in Viburnum and he has been a part of this program since it’s beginning a few years ago.

$5,015 was raised through the Love Thy Neighbor Valentines Dinner held in February.

Projects for the program this year are scheduled to take place June 27th through July 1st.
