(CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo.) – The Viburnum Bluejays‘ volleyball season is off to a great start, especially after last weekend when the team took home the silver bracket championship in the Black Divison of the SEMO Dig For Life Challenge in Cape Girardeau. After going through pool play with a win, a loss and two draws, the Bluejays won four straight matches to earn the silver bracket title. Bluejays coach Stephanie Dunn said with so many games in a row, the team’s chemistry helped them keep up their energy.

Dunn said she thinks their performance will give them a heightened sense of belief for the rest of the season.

Viburnum volleyball is currently 9-2-2 this season. The Bluejays will be back in action Thursday when they host Belle.
