Volleyball Showdown Tuesday at St. Pius Features Lancers vs Hillsboro Hawks on KJFF

(FESTUS) As the regular season winds down in high school volleyball, the St. Pius Lancers will be hosting the Hillsboro Hawks for Senior Night on AM 1400 KJFF.

The Lancers enter the match with a 19-2-2 record while the Hawks are 16-11-1. St. Pius head coach Shannon Leftridge knows that it’s going to be a lot of fun for her girls to compete against Hillsboro.

As for preparing for the Hawks, Coach Leftridge says that it comes down to her team improving its blocking.

Hillsboro Head Coach Erin Boss is very complimentary of her defense across the board and knows that it will take a great effort to beat St. Pius.

Coach Boss also wants to make sure her girls remain mentally strong.

First serve between Hillsboro and St. Pius from St. Pius High School will be approximately 20 minutes after the JV match ends. JV begins at 5:30. You can listen to pregame of the varsity action beginning at approximately 6:15 on AM 1400 KJFF.
