Washington County Fair Begins in Potosi

(Potosi) The Washington County Fair gets underway Wednesday at the fairgrounds in Potosi.

The talent show is the big thing Wednesday night.

Thursday is all about the 4-H and F.F.A. kids with livestock judging and the livestock sale that evening.

On Friday night, you can hear some good live music on the main stage.

Fair board member Kris Richards excited about Friday night’s music.

And kids, daytime Saturday is your time time to have cheap fun on the carnival rides.

The fair board will clear out the fairgrounds Saturday afternoon after 3 and then the fair gates will reopen Saturday evening at 5.

Saturday night will be highlighted with more live music.

The Washington County Fair is still one of the most affordable county fairs in Missouri.

The first two nights, admission is only 7 dollars and it’s just 10 dollars admission Friday evening and Saturday evening.

J-98 will broadcast from the fair in Potosi on Friday afternoon.
