West County Boys vs NMCC in Class 3 Quarters on J-98

(Farmington) Despite two fourth quarter double digit deficits, the West County Bulldogs have managed to stay alive in the Class Three basketball postseason. Tonight the 15-11 Bulldogs go up against the 4th ranked team in the state, the 21-7 New Madrid County Central Eagles in a state quarterfinal at the Farmington Civic Center. New Madrid comes off a season where they finished 4th in Class 4 and just knocked off the defending Class 3 Champions, Charleston. West County coach Chris Labruyere says his guys are writing their own history at the school.

Jadis Jones leads the way for New Madrid at 23 points per game. He went for 29 with 23 rebounds in his last game.
West County will try to match him with their rising post Chasten Horton who scored 32 against Maplewood.
Coach Labruyere can guarantee only one thing, that his team will fight till the final whistle…
