West County’s Francis Joins Teammate On Dream Team

(FRANKCLAY, Mo.) – After the 2018 baseball season, the West County Bulldogs had two of their players earn Dream Team honors. One of those two is junior Zack Francis, who hit .482 at the plate and had a 7-2 pitching record, striking out 65 batters in 53 innings. Francis says his fellow Dream Teamer and longtime friend Ty Simily, along with the rest of his teammates, helped him succeed.
After a year in which the Bulldogs reached the Class 3 state quarterfinals, Francis says the pieces are there for another title run next year.
For his upcoming senior season, Francis says he wants to improve his game enough to try to play at the college level.
