Windsor’s Williams makes stirring senior return and earns Dream Team honors

(Imperial) Windsor Owls senior Derek Williams was one of the most motivated football players in the area.

That motivation worked out, as Williams finished his career with a selection to the Regional Radio Dream Team.

After an injury cut his junior season short, Williams says he was determined to make his final season a special one.

Wiliams was a dual-threat quarterback, rushing for almost 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns while throwing for over 950 yards and 7 TDs.

But he says none of it is possible without his teammates, especially his offensive line.

And Williams has plenty of other people to thank for his success.

Williams was named the most valuable player of the MAFC Red Division.
