Central Freshman Kaydence Cosby Lands Spot On Softball Dream Team

(Park Hills) A superb freshman season landed Central‘s Kaydence Cosby on the Regional Radio Softball Dream Team. Cosby wrecked havoc at the plate with a slash line of .474/.556/.934 and 6 home runs. The freshman tallied 19 extra base hits and recorded 31 runs batted in as the catcher for a Rebels team that placed 4th in the state this season. Cosby says her dad was the one to tell her about making the Dream Team.

Cosby wasn’t nervous about playing high school ball because of the hard work she puts in.

With a season full of memories behind her, Cosby was happy to spend a lot of time with her team.

Cosby wanted to thank those that helped her achieve so much in just her first high school season.

Cosby was also named 1st Team All-State. Central went 17-8 this season.
