South Iron Meets Naylor in Class 1 Girls Basketball Quarterfinals

(Van Buren, Mo.) The #3 South Iron Lady Panthers tip off against the Naylor Lady Eagles tomorrow on J-98 in the Class 1 state tournament quarterfinals. South Iron took down Norwood 47-45 in sectionals while Naylor knocked off Delta 64-50 in their sectional match up. The Lady Panthers come in to the game 24-4 while the Lady Eagles are 19-9 and head coach of South Iron Lawrence Graves says positions 1 through 5 on the Lady Eagles roster are top notch.

South Iron looks to make it to the semifinals for just the second time in program history and the first time since 2017. Coach Graves says he coaches for moments like these.

South Iron will tip off against Naylor tomorrow afternoon at 1 o’clock in Van Buren. For fans that will be attending the game, gates open tomorrow morning at 11:30 and additional parking will be by the riverfront where they will have a shuttle taking fans to the game.
